LOG LINE:  

A masked woman in an empty sad world is taking meticulously good care of her dolls in her doll house, until she accidently pierces herself and her façade cracks, bringing her fantasy world in to her reality.

 

SYNOPSIS:

A masked woman in a white empty sad world takes meticulously good care of her dolls in her doll house. She accidently pierces herself and faints, as her mask falls off, revealing a beautiful face full of mirrors.

Light goes out and the doll house comes to her world. The dolls, now alive, catwalks in an effort to change the fainted woman’s appearance. The woman wakes up, full of energy, changed into a lighter and more liberating appearance, and enjoys her new self with the human dolls in her world that has become colourful and full of music.

 

PRODUCTION NOTES:

Winner of Best Make Up (Einat Dan) La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival 2018. Shot in Berlin, Germany in April 2018. Produced and written by Einat Dan, winner Best Make Up La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival 2017. Collaboration with London based Josh Brandao & Nicolai Kornum. The 3 originally met at La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival.
